            Upcoming Events / Concerts

            SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2019

Saturday, January 12, 2019 – Donald Sinta Quartet

            NO STRINGS ATTACHED

            SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 7:30 PM

            DONALD SINTA QUARTET

            Joe Girard, tenor sax
            Danny Hawthorne-Foss, baritone sax

And now for something completely different – chamber music with sax. Imagine an original, but deeply authentic sound – string quartets by Schubert, Shostakovich and Barber arranged for saxophone quartet. The Donald Sinta Quartet, First Prize Winner of the 2013 Concert Artists Guild Competition, has also won the top prize at several chamber music competitions. They are “… a tight-knit ensemble exploding with power” (Boston Musical Intelligencer) and “astonishing virtuosity” (Palm Beach Daily News). They perform entirely from memory, which strengthens an already palpable connection with their audiences. You will be surprised and delighted!
